“We are fortunate and delighted to have Matt join us as a contributing editor. His resume speaks for itself. It’s not an exaggeration to say that he is one of the best journalists of his generation,” said John Ellis, Founder and Editor of News Items. “Matt will be doing a Friday newsletter that will sometimes follow the News Items format and other times be commentary on a particular topic. We’re hoping he’ll do some podcasting as well.”
“I’ve been a subscriber to News Items for years now, and I understand why its subscribers are so devoted to it. It’s a great service, and it’s exciting to be part of such an innovative effort as the industry seeks new ways to serve and engage readers.
