EXCLUSIVE: Former President Donald Trump is polling "very poorly" among women, and one political expert said his best bet may be to choose a female vice president if he wants to win the 2024 race.

As Nikki Haley clings onto the Republican presidential race, there are calls for former president Donald Trump to choose a female vice president, one political expert said.

South Carolina’s GOP primary on February 24 may be the last chance for Haley to blunt Trump’s march to the nomination, as Trump remains victorious in the past three major contests - Iowa, New Hampshire, and Nevada.

Both Trump and Haley will be in South Carolina this weekend to hold dueling campaign events ahead of the primary.
